NIC WILSON

Nicolas Wilson is a Melbourne based moving image creator and photographer situated in Ivanhoe. His photographic journey started with the refurbishment of a broken 35mm film camera; often documenting road travel to coastal and alpine locations whilst studying at university.

In tandem to theoretical study, Wilson built an array of video art works to include suburban genre works, visual culture mashups and music visualisation. This culminated in experience as an electronic music producer and performance DVJ.

Currently working as a cinematographer and editor, Wilson’s current photographic works continue an exploration of digitally post-processed landscape and immersive texture.
